Last Thursday the Canberra Astronomical Society had its annual dinner. Some of the members dress up special for the dinner and, you guessed it, Mum and Dad always do. This year they resurrected Sheik Rattlenroll and Nefferonnasunday. Here we are, all ready to go. Mum always takes a photo on these occasions as it is the only time she can get Dad to be (ever so slightly) serious. Dad was a bit worried that they might be mistaken for terrorists when they turned up at the club where the dinner was being held, but I guess that most terrorists don't have a small bear with them, so we had no trouble at all.
