Toyshop Titans

Last weekend we went out to a new shopping centre near the airport. Lots of new shops had just opened and there were lots of things being sold at special prices. One shop called "Toys'r'Us" had been on the site for a few years, but the new shops joined up to it. Now I really love looking around toyshops. It's where I get my ideas about what to ask Santa for. Well, outside this shop there were two very large, very strange critters. Mum knew what they were straight away because she had some toys like them when she was a lot younger. They are Potatoheads, and they liked me. They showed me around the store, and I think Mr Potatohead tried to sell me at least once, but I am not leaving my Oldies to go and live with strangers. Evidently you can pull the eyes, ears, mouths and things off potatoheads and put different ones on them. I tried to do that but all I achieved was to make them say rude words and hand me back to Mum.

Cowbear

Unka Mark's house has lots of interesting things in it. Every time that I visit him he has a different toy for me to play with. This cow was fun to jump and bounce on. She squeaks. My cow Holly doesn't make any sound at all and real ones moo, so this one is really different. No spurs allowed either, but that's no problem because I don't have the proper cowboy gear (hint for Santa).

Santa Came!!!!!

I was up real early on Christmas morning. OK, I went to sleep on Santa Guard duty. Guess what. There was a whole new pile of presents that appeared overnight. The whiskery gent obviously snuck in after all. I crawled all over the pile looking for something labelled "Bart" and there it was!! A beautiful Bart-sized racing car, coloured British racing green. Not radio-controlled, but even better. This one is parent-controlled. Any accident, like bumping into furniture and leaving scratches on things can be blamed on them. I am going to have fun with this one and can't wait to see the looks on Scruffy and Samisch when they see it.

By the way, if you click on the photos on my blog you can see them much bigger.

Rocket for Bear

Santa bought me a rocket last Christmas. Here I am helping Dad set it up ready for launch. Sometimes Dad cheats and fires the rocket while I am clinging onto it. I don't mind because the trip is fun and with me attached the rocket doesn't go very high. To launch the rocket you have to jump really hard on the black bubble bit. This is hard for small bears so I get help from a heavier person. Can you see one in the picture?
